William Dixon - Sales Manager

Mr. Dixon graduated from the University of Evansville (Indiana) and, at the request of the University, remained a year as a Lecturer of Biology. 

As a licensed Real Estate Broker in California, for more than forty years, William Dixon has provided real estate services:  as a real estate broker and a mortgage broker; as an asset manager; as a development consultant to developers and builders for projects of all sizes, one of which was Marbella Golf and Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, CA; and as the owners’ representative for residential, industrial and commercial projects.  During the last two recessions, Mr. Dixon represented several financial institutions, assisting with managing, repairing, marketing and selling their REO’s.

 He also served as founder and managing general partner for the Bear Creek golf community in Murrieta, CA.   As managing general partner, Mr. Dixon was responsible for:  planning; engineering; entitlements for a General Plan Amendment, the Specific Plan, and Phase 1 & 2 development plans; routing and design of the golf course; design of the clubhouse; development and construction of the golf course and Phase 1 real estate; generation of the business plan, pro forma and actual budgets, and reports to the partners; marketing; and sales. 

Mr. Dixon served in the US Navy for five years, attaining the rank of lieutenant, and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for his leadership and action in Vietnam.

Mr. Dixon has earned several Salesman of The Year Awards in Riverside County, CA, and has served as:  an Inter-board Mediator for the California Association of Realtors, a Director of the Rancho Temecula Murrieta Association of Realtors, a member of the Professional Standards Committee for the RTM Association of Realtors, the Treasurer of the Multiple Listing Service Corporation, a member of the City of Temecula Marketing Committee, the Founder and Chairman of the RTM Charity Golf Classic, the Co-Chairman of the San Diego Hospice Invitational Golf Tournament, a member of the Century Club of San Diego (conducts annual PGA Tour golf tournament), the Chairman (six terms) of the Skyline School Site Council, the Vice-Chairman of the Solana Beach Crime Commission, the President (two terms) of the Santa Fe Hills Homeowners Association (411 single-family detached residences) in Solana Beach, CA, and as an Honorary Member of the Long Beach Police Officers Association.

Charles has enjoyed a successful 35 year career as a licensed general contractor, manufactured home dealer, and real estate broker.  He is known for his innovative and creative ideas which have resulted in noteworthy projects, including the development of mobile home parks, large apartment communities, golf course communities, and industrial parks. His projects have an enduring quality of excellence and his long history of understanding customer needs led him to start Swmhomes to provide prefab, modular, and manufactured homes throughout Southern California.

Past Accomplishments Include:

- Owner of Southwest Manufactured Homes, a licensed dealer of Champion Homes, Redman Homes, Silvercrest Homes, Palm Harbor Homes, Golden West Homes, and Fleetwood Homes, with retail offices in both San Diego and Palm Desert.

- Development of infill lots in San Diego, Riverside, and Los Angeles using factory-built homes to replace homes in low income areas. 

- Redevelopment of a 220 unit mobile home community in South Laguna Beach, CA - Development of a 55 acre parcel into a 350 unit mobile home community in Coachella Valley, CA. 

- Development of a 45 acre, 266 unit mobile home community, including capital acquisitions, governmental processing, bid package, and implementation in Lake Elsinore, CA.

- Acquisition of distressed manufactured home subdivision as investor representative with banks, government agencies, and contractors.

- Sale of a 115 unit mobile home park in Seal Beach, CA - Rehabilitation of mobile home communities throughout Southern California, coordinating with tenants, lenders, owners, and government agencies including 157 units in San Juan Capistrano, 152 Units in Oceanside, CA, and 119 units in Paramount, CA.
